GLASS OF THE FORWARD DOOR

Use of the tool for release of glass from a bracket on models till 1992

1 – plastic ledges of a bracket,

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To remove a door upholstery.
2. To lower glass on 2/3 heights.
3. To unstick plastic foil on a door framework.
4. To take lower a glass sealant.
5. To take partially a glass sealant from a back and top frame of a window.
6. In the presence to disconnect the electric socket from the engine of a window regulator and to move a plait of wires aside.
7. It is temporary to paste over with an adhesive tape glass on outer side so that during extraction process it did not fall in a door.
8. To release the bracket fixing window glass on the window regulator mechanism.
9. On models till 1992 for release of a bracket of fastening of glass it is necessary to use the special Peugeot tool (-) 7.1309. The tool can be manufactured by drilling of an opening of suitable diameter in a small plate.
10. To pull the tool over a back part of a bracket to squeeze ledges, and at the same time to push window glass in a door framework to exempt it from a bracket (see rice. Use of the tool for release of glass from a bracket on models till 1992).
11. On models since 1993 the bracket is established behind glass. The bracket can be released by its turn on a quarter of a turn.
12. To unstick a tape, holding glass with a hand.
13. To extract glass, having pulled it up and outside of a door.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal, considering the next moments.
2. On models till 1992 check what the bracket fixing flew down to a window regulator, it was reliably fixed.
3. For simplification of installation to the place of sealants to moisten them with soap water.
4. If plastic foil of consolidation was damaged at removal, to establish a new film.
5. To establish a door upholstery.

WINDOW REGULATOR OF THE FORWARD DOOR

Mechanism of a raising and lowering of glass

 1 – electrically the operated mechanism,

2 – the mechanism operated manually

3 – the handle for lowering and a raising of glass manually
Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To remove glass of a forward door.
2. To disconnect the electric socket from the window regulator engine.
3. To unscrew three nuts (are specified by shooters) fixing the window regulator mechanism to a door.
4. To unscrew two nuts fixing directing windows to a door.
5. To incline a window regulator and to take it through the lower window of an internal part of a door.

Installation

Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal.

THE LOWERED GLASS OF THE WINDOW OF THE BACK DOOR

Fastening of a back guide of the lowered glass of a back door

1 – top bolt of fastening of a guide,

2 – lower bolt of fastening of a guide,

3 – guide,

4 – consolidation

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To perform the operations similar to actions for removal of glass of a forward door (see above) (taking into account the next moments).
2. To completely lower window glass.
3. Before removal of glass to remove a back guide of glass which is screwed by two screws (see rice. Fastening of a back guide of the lowered glass of a back door).

BACK MOTIONLESS GLASS OF THE BACK DOOR

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To remove a door upholstery.
2. To remove a protective film from an internal part of a door.
3. To unscrew two screws fixing a back guide of glass.
4. To remove the lower internal and external consolidation of the lowered glass of a back door.
5. To remove the top and back consolidation of glass of a back door.
6. To lower a back guide of glass at a door.
7. To move forward and to remove back motionless glass with consolidation from a door (And – directing to glasses, B – consolidation).

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal (taking into account the next moments).
