Removal
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
|
1. Working under the bumper basis, to unscrew three screws of the lower fastening of a bumper. |
2. Working at one party of the car, to unscrew three screws of fastening of an outer edge of an insert of an arch of a wheel, then to move an insert back from a bumper. |

3. To unscrew two nuts of fastening of a forward part of a bumper. |
|
4. To unscrew the bolt fixing a side part of a bumper to a wing. |
5. On other party of the car to unscrew two nuts of fastening of a forward part of a bumper and the bolt fixing a side part of a bumper to a wing. |
6. To pull a bumper forward (two persons), to disconnect wires from fog lights and a hose of a washer of headlights, paying attention not to scratch the varnished surface of wings. |
7. To remove a bumper from the car. |

Installation
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. To establish a bumper on the appropriate place, without fixing it. |
2. Before fixing of all knot to adjust a bumper to other elements of a body. |
3. During movement along the stacked road to check whether there is no excessive fluctuation of a bumper. |

Repair of a bumper
Bumpers are made of polypropylene therefore they can be repaired, melting material by means of the device giving hot air.
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. For repair simplification, and also for avoidance of damage of other elements of a body it is necessary to remove a bumper. |
2. Soft solvent to clear parts which will be subjected to welding. |
3. To put to each other parts which have to be subjected to welding and hold them by means of a vice and the motionless holder. |
4. If the bumper is deformed, perform the following operations. |
5. To soften a bumper by means of hot air, without allowing material to melt. |
6. To put a bumper to a special form for giving of an initial form to it. |
7. To wait 10 minutes until the bumper cools down. |

Welding
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. To put on a small tip the gun of supply of hot air. |
2. To direct the gun to places which have to be welded. |
3. To move the gun with the continuous movement so that to cause material fusion. |
Prevention
For welding it is necessary to use a thin core from the same material, as the bumper (taken from an old bumper).
The core should be put at right angle to a welding seam.
It is necessary to weld ahead and behind the place of damage.
To make welding on damage inside.

4. To remove the roughnesses of a surface which arose in the course of welding. |
5. An emery paper granularity 150 to smooth out the repaired surface, and then to polish it with an emery paper granularity 600 with water use. |
