Difference in a design of TU3 and XU engines insignificant.
In the TU3 engine of a support of the main necks of a bent shaft form one uniform (as the lower part of the block of cylinders of the bent shaft divided on an axis) whereas in the XU engine of a support of the main necks of a bent shaft fasten separately (the block of cylinders indivisible). Therefore also method of sealing of a bent shaft another.
Valves in a head of the block of cylinders are installed in the TU3 engine at an angle and in this regard bilateral levers of valves whereas valves are installed in the XU engine vertically act and are put in action directly through pushers.
