The engine of a screen wiper and draft is located in a back part of a motor compartment.
Removal
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. To disconnect a negative wire from the accumulator. |
| 2. To remove the lattice located before a windshield. |
| 3. In the presence to unscrew bolts and to remove a protective cover from the engine. |
| 4. To remove the electric socket from the screen wiper engine. |
| 5. On models where there is not enough place for extraction of drafts of a screen wiper between the main brake cylinder and a partition to move the main brake cylinder aside as follows. |
| 6. To unscrew nuts of fastening of the main brake cylinder to the vacuum amplifier, then to lift the main brake cylinder from racks and to move it back, without disconnecting brake tubes. |
| 7. On models with the block of electronic control located in a back corner of a motor compartment which closes a bolt of draft of a screen wiper the block it has to be removed as follows. |
| 8. To lift a block cover, then to disconnect control units and to remove the block. |
| 9. To unscrew elements of fastening of a plate of the holder of the mechanism of a screen wiper. |

10. To unscrew a bolt (it is specified by an arrow) fastenings of the engine of a screen wiper. |
|
11. To unscrew a bolt (it is specified by an arrow) fastenings of a screen wiper. |
|
12. To take a screen wiper from the car. |
|
13. If necessary to unscrew a nut (A) of the drive of drafts of a screen wiper and three bolts (V) of fastening of the engine of a screen wiper to a plate of the holder of the mechanism of a screen wiper and to remove the engine. |
