Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To open a cowl. Paint to designate position of hinges of a cowl concerning two elements of fastening.
2. To unscrew a bolt of fastening of the tire of grounding to a cowl.
3. To weaken two bolts of fastening of each hinge to a cowl.
4. To establish the holder of a brush so that to hold a cowl open.
5. To unscrew four screws of fastening of a cowl to hinges (on two from each party).
6. To unscrew bolts (A) of fastening of loops to a cowl and bolts (B) of fastening of loops to a body.
7. To remove a cowl. Not to damage the varnished surface of forward wings, removal of a cowl should be made together.

Repair

During works on a cowl it is not necessary to impose too large amount of polyester pitch because it tends to cracking at sharp closings or at fluctuations.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Before a cowl covering a varnish it is necessary to apply sealing weight on connections of internal amplifiers of a cowl.
2. For avoidance of corrosion and reduction of noise it is necessary to spray special rust-preventing agent on inside of a cowl.
3. Before performance of the subsequent actions the cowl has to dry within one night at a temperature of 20 °C.
4. In the closed profiles (in amplifiers of a cowl) it is necessary to inject special wax liquid into aerosols.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To grease bolts of hinges.
2. To establish a cowl on hinges, without screwing up finally connections. Two persons have to perform this operation.
3. To establish on appropriate places and to screw up cowl hinges.
4. To adjust a gap between a cowl and wings, and also between a cowl and a front grille.
5. For this purpose it is necessary to perform the following operations. To adjust elements of fastening of a cowl its situation in the horizontal plane.
6. To adjust elements of side fastening position of hinges in the vertical plane.
7. To be convinced that the cowl opens normally.
8. To finally screw up elements of fastening of hinges.
9. To close a cowl and to be convinced of its normal opening and closing.
