4.2.3. Fuel pump

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Established outside
1. To lift a back part of the car.
2. To disconnect electric wires and fuel hoses from the pump.
3. To take the pump from belts of a rubber pillow (And – electric wires of the fuel pump, In – fuel supply hoses).
Established in the fuel tank
4. To remove back sitting.
5. To remove by means of the lever a plastic covering of a floor for access to the pump. The pump is located under the right covering.
6. To remove the electrical wiring socket from the fuel pump.
7. To note hoses (are specified by shooters) for identification, then to weaken collars, to remove hoses and to muffle them traffic jams.
8. To put tags on the fuel tank, a cover of the pump and a ring then to unscrew a ring, rotating it counterclockwise.
9. To lift a pump cover, then being careful to take the fuel pump (the drawing at the left) and rubber ring consolidation (the drawing on the right).

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Installation of the pump is made in the sequence of the return to removal.
2. At installation of the pump located in the fuel tank it is necessary to check a condition of the filter and to establish a new rubber sealing ring.
