3.4.1.6. Installation of a corner of an advancing of ignition
For check of installation of a corner of an advancing of ignition it is necessary to use a stroboscope.
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |

|
| 1. To remove the cap (the drawing at the left) located on a coupling case in order that adjusting tags were visible (are specified by an arrow in the drawing on the right) on a flywheel and the plate screwed on a case. |
| 2. To start the engine, to warm up up to the working temperature then to switch off. |
| 3. To remove a vacuum hose from the distributor of ignition and to close it a stopper. |
| 4. To connect a stroboscope according to the instruction. |
| 5. To start the engine in the mode of idling and to direct a stroboscope to tags. The adjusting tag of a flywheel has to be combined with a tag on a plate on which degrees of shift of installation of a corner of ignition from the top dead point (TDP) are specified. |
| 6. In need of adjustment to weaken nuts of fastening of the distributor of ignition and to slowly turn it before combination of the corresponding tags. |
| 7. After combination of tags to tighten nuts of fastening of the distributor and to repeatedly check an ignition advancing corner. |
| 8. To increase the frequency of rotation of the engine and to be convinced that tags begin to move towards bigger increase in a corner of an advancing of ignition. It shows that the centrifugal regulator of a corner of an advancing of ignition works. |
| 9. To establish a vacuum hose into place and to make check of a corner of an advancing of ignition on the increased engine turns. At the same time tags have to move in a bigger degree. It shows that the vacuum regulator of a corner of an advancing of ignition works. |
