3.4.1.1. Ignition coil
On early models the coil of ignition is installed on the block of cylinders above a starter or on an inlet collector. On later models the coil of ignition is installed at the left end face of a head of the block of cylinders.
Removal

| 1. To remove a weight wire from the accumulator. |
| 2. To remove ventilation hoses from a casing of an inlet collector and the adjusting valve of air temperature. |

3. To remove the electrical wiring socket from the condenser installed on the ignition coil. |
|
|
| 4. To remove high-voltage wires (the drawing at the left) and the socket (the drawing on the right) from the ignition coil. |
|
|
| 5. To unscrew two bolts (are specified by shooters) fastenings of the coil of ignition (on the right – bolts of fastening of the coil of ignition on the Bosch L3.1 system). |
|
6. To remove the ignition coil (in the drawing – system of ignition Motronic). |
|
