3.2.13.3. Removal of a head of the block of cylinders

This operation demands partial removal of a gear belt.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Fix the right top support of the engine, and then take adaptation of support of the engine (it does not concern the THAT XUD 7 engine).
2. Remove the air filter, and also its connections, pipelines of injection and a cover of a head of the block of cylinders.
3. Disconnect branch pipes of cooling liquid, fuel pipelines, electric connections from a head of the block of cylinders. Disconnect the draft of idling strengthened on the pump with the increased speed.
4. In the THAT XUD 7 engine incline the engine forward and insert wooden whetstone (see rice. Placement of wooden whetstone for fixing of the engine). Remove an inlet collector (the central screw of fastening).
5. Take off a belt of the drive of the pump of the amplifier of steering (if the car is equipped with steering with the amplifier).
6. Remove the left eye for raising of the engine.
7. In the XUD 9 engine disconnect a final tube about a collector and take it from a broad tank.
8. Unscrew a bolt of fastening of a pulley to the camshaft, unscrew the blocking bolt and remove the cogged pulley.
9. Put the clamp of an axis of a tension roller and unscrew the top bolt.
10. Unscrew a bolt of fastening of an arm of the engine to a head of the block of cylinders.
11. In the THAT XUD 7 engine unscrew three bolts of fastening of a turbocompressor to a final collector.
12. Unscrew ten bolts of fastening of a head of the block of cylinders "on a spiral", beginning from an external bolt, and take them together with washers.
13. Separate a head of the block of cylinders and remove, directing it to the right side so that to take the end of the camshaft from a camshaft case opening. The bracket of fastening of a bypass branch pipe (on the right side of the engine) should be protected rags in order to avoid damage of a surface of connection during removal of a head of the block of cylinders.
