14.5. Replacement of switches
MULTIPURPOSE SWITCHES OF THE STEERING COLUMN (MODEL TILL 1993)
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. To remove casings of a steering column. |
|
2. To unscrew two screws (are specified by shooters) fastenings of the switch to an arm of a steering column. |
3. To remove the switch and to disconnect the electric socket. |
4. Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal. |
|

PERFORMANCE ORDER |

1. Removal of the switch is made similarly earlier stated (see above). Difference consists that access to screws (are specified by an arrow) fastenings of the switch is provided from a forward part of the switch. |
|
2. To remove the multipurpose switch from a steering column. |
|
SWITCHES ON THE DASHBOARD (MODEL TILL 1992)
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
|
1. Using the thin screw-driver, to release the plastic clamps located on each side the switch and to take the switch from the dashboard. |
2. To disconnect the electric socket from the switch. |
3. At installation to connect the electric socket to the switch and to press the switch into a nest in the panel before fixing by its clamps. |

SWITCHES ON THE DASHBOARD (MODEL SINCE 1993)
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Removal of the switch is made similarly earlier stated (see above) except that plastic clamps are located from above and from below the switch. |

2. To remove the switch from the dashboard. |
|
HEATER FAN SWITCH
The switch compound with the control panel of a heater also cannot separately be replaced from the panel.
SWITCHES ON THE CENTRAL CONSOLE
Forward switches
PERFORMANCE ORDER |

1. Using the thin screw-driver, to remove decorative finishing of the basis under the lever of the emergency brake. |
|
2. Using the thin screw-driver, to remove finishing of the switch. |
|
3. Using the thin screw-driver, to remove the switch from the central console and to disconnect the electric socket. |
4. Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal. |

Back switches
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Using the thin screw-driver, to remove a back ashtray from the central console. |
|
2. Using the thin screw-driver, to remove finishing of the switch. |
|
3. Using the thin screw-driver, to remove the switch from the central console and to disconnect the electric socket. |
4. Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal. |

SWITCHES ON THE DOOR
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. By means of the thin screw-driver to take the switch from a nest on a door of the car and to disconnect the electric socket. |
2. Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal. |
|
SWITCHES OF ILLUMINATION OF SALON
The switch on a door rack
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
|
1. To open a door, then to remove a rubber protective cover (it is specified by an arrow) from the switch. |
2. To unscrew the screw of fastening and to take the switch from a door rack. |
3. To disconnect the electric socket from the switch and to tie to the switch a thin cord in order that the wire from the switch did not fail in a door rack. |
4. Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal. |

The switches installed on a ceiling
Switches compound with lamps cannot be also replaced separately.
Switch of illumination of a luggage carrier (Sedan model)
The switch is located in a suspension bracket and is run by the trunk lid hinge.
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. To open a trunk lid. |
|
2. To release brackets and to take the switch from a suspension bracket. |
3. To disconnect the electric socket and to remove the switch. |
4. Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal. |

Luggage carrier illumination switch (model of Kombi)
Illumination of the luggage compartment is run by the switch sensitive to an inclination and located in a back door.
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. To open a back door. |
2. To unscrew screws and to remove plastic finishing from an internal part of a back door. |
3. Working on perimeter of carpet finishing of a back door, to release brackets of fastening and to remove carpet finishing of a back door. |

4. To unscrew the screw (it is specified by an arrow), the fixing switch to a back door. |
5. To disconnect the electric socket and to remove the switch. |
6. Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal. |

THE HATCH SWITCH WITH THE ELECTRIC DRIVE
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
|
1. Using the thin screw-driver, to remove the locking plate (close to the hatch switch) from the top console. |
|
2. Through the opening formed after removal of the locking plate to push out the switch and to disconnect the electric socket. |
3. Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal. |
|
