1. To lift a back part of the car and to record on supports. |
2. To remove the corresponding back wheel. |

3. To unscrew the screws fixing the brake drum to a nave. |
4. To check that the emergency brake is completely released and to remove the brake drum from the car. |
5. The drum can badly be removed from a nave in connection with corrosion of a nave or because it is kept by brake shoes. |
6. In the first case for removal of a drum from a nave to knock on drum perimeter with the plastic hammer or a wooden kiyanka. |
7. In the second case to check that the emergency brake is completely released and to perform the following operations. |
8. To completely weaken the regulator of a cable of the emergency brake to receive the maximum deflection in a cable. |

9. To remove a stopper from a back part of a brake board (the stopper is usually painted in blue color) and, using the screw-driver to move the lever of the emergency brake to a brake shoe against the stop (E – the provision of a reference point of a stop of the lever of the emergency brake). |

10. Release the lever of the emergency brake. |
11. It will allow to take away brake shoes from the brake drum therefore the drum will easily be removed from a nave. |
