12:18. Lever of the emergency brake

Arrangement of nuts of fastening of the lever of the emergency brake

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To disconnect a back part of a forward cable of the emergency brake from the right back cable under the car.
2. On models with the ordinary central console to tighten the lever of the emergency brake and to remove finishing of the emergency brake from the top part of the central console.
3. To remove finishing on the lever of the emergency brake.
4. On models with the improved central console to remove the central console.
5. Under the car, for access to nuts of fastening of the lever of the emergency brake to remove an intermediate link of the exhaust system and a heat-resistant guard.
6. To unscrew four nuts of fastening of the lever of the emergency brake.
7. To lower the lever of the emergency brake under the car and to disconnect a wire from the switch of a control lamp of turning on of the emergency brake.
8. To disconnect a cable of the emergency brake from the lever.
9. Installation is made in the sequence of the return to removal.
10. To check and if necessary to adjust operation of the emergency brake.
