Vacuum amplifier

1 – main brake cylinder,

2 – vacuum amplifier,

3 – arm of fastening of a tank,

4 – tank of brake fluid

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To press a brake pedal several times at the idle engine to create in cavities of the vacuum amplifier identical pressure close to atmospheric.

2. At the same time on the effort enclosed to a pedal to define whether there is no jamming of the case of the valve.

3. To stop a brake pedal in the middle of its course and to start the engine.

4. At the serviceable vacuum amplifier the brake pedal after launch of the engine has to leave forward.

5. If the pedal does not leave forward, to check fastening of a tip of a hose, a condition of fastening of a flange of a tip in the amplifier, a condition of a hose and the union.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To remove the negative plug from the accumulator.
2. To remove the screen wiper drive.
3. To disconnect the electric socket from the sensor of level of brake fluid.
	4. To remove the vacuum unilateral valve from the vacuum amplifier.
5. To unscrew two nuts of fastening of the main brake cylinder to the vacuum amplifier and to remove the main brake cylinder from the vacuum amplifier of brakes, without disconnecting from it brake tubes.
6. In the lower forward part of salon from the driver to turn off a floor covering from under the panel, for simplification of access to a pedal.
7. If necessary, to release a fastening bracket and to disconnect a coupling cable from a pedal.
8. To disconnect the socket from the stoplight switch.
9. To remove rubber elements of a suspension bracket of pedals.
	10. To unscrew the nuts fixing the vacuum amplifier to a partition of a motor compartment.
	11. To take the vacuum amplifier together with pedals in a motor compartment.
	12. To unscrew four nuts of fastening of the vacuum amplifier to pedals.
13. To remove the vacuum amplifier with laying.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Installation is made in the sequence of the return to removal taking into account the next moments.

2. To use new laying at installation of the vacuum amplifier.

3. To establish a screen wiper.

4. To check regulation of the switch of a stoplight.
