Removal
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. To remove the brake drum. |
| 2. Using flat-nose pliers, to remove the top spring squeezing brake shoes. |
| 3. To remove the top ends of brake shoes from pistons of the working brake cylinder. |
| 4. Using a G-shaped clip, to press a brake hose in the place, the closest to the working brake cylinder. |
| 5. To remove dirt around a junction of a brake hose and a back part of the working brake cylinder. |
| 6. To unscrew a connecting nut. |
| 7. Being careful to take a brake pipe from the working brake cylinder. |
| 8. To close a tube and the brake cylinder traffic jams. |
| 9. To unscrew two bolts of fastening of the working brake cylinder to a brake board. |
| 10. Being careful to remove the working brake cylinder. |

Repair
If the brake cylinder has defects, it needs to be replaced completely since separate parts for it are not delivered.
Installation
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. To check that the interfaced surfaces on a brake board and the working brake cylinder pure. |
| 2. To install the brake cylinder into place. |
| 3. To install a brake pipe in the brake cylinder and to screw a connecting nut on 2–3 turns. |
| 4. To screw in two bolts of fastening of the working brake cylinder to a brake board and to tighten them the required moment. |
| 5. To finally tighten a nut of fastening of a brake pipe to the working brake cylinder. |
| 6. To remove a clip from a brake hose. |
| 7. To establish the top parts of brake shoes in grooves of the piston of the working brake cylinder. |
| 8. To establish the top returnable spring of brake shoes. |
| 9. To install the brake drum. |
| 10. To remove air from the brake system. |
