11.2.3. Replacement of torsions

Fastening of the torsion on the lever

1 – lever,

2 – bolt of fastening of the torsion,

3 – the eccentric blocking laying,

4 – bolt of fastening of the stabilizer,

5 – bolt of face fastening of the stabilizer,

6 – basic laying


1. To install the car on the elevator and to remove shock-absorbers, and also the stabilizer.
2. To install the car on supports.
3. On the place of the shock-absorber to install adaptation 7.0908 V (to adjust its length so that it was possible to place freely an axis in the lever).
4. To screw up adaptation lock-nut.
5. On the opposite side, at an end face of the torsion to unscrew a bolt and to remove laying.
6. On the party with which the torsion is removed to unscrew a bolt and to remove basic laying.
7. To designate position of the torsion two blows of a center punch (on the torsion and the lever).
8. To establish a tip 7.0908 Q (the shaft improved with M8x125 carving) on the end of the torsion, and on a tip – an inertial stripper (8.0316 A).
9. To remove the torsion (it is necessary to watch that the lever did not move together with the torsion back).


1. It is necessary to adjust distance of an axis of adaptation 7.0908 V:
      – to the recommended value, if the torsion new;
      – to the value defined for correction of height of a suspension bracket of a body;
      – to the value measured during removal.

In installation time it is not necessary to interchange the position of torsions:
      – the torsion is right: 1 sign executed by paint;
      – the torsion is left: 2 signs executed by paint.

2. On the place of the shock-absorber to install the special adjusted adaptation.
3. To install on the torsion from the lever a tip, and also an inertial stripper (0908 Q).
4. To check whether vents are well cleared, and then to grease them with Esso Norva 275 lubricant.
5. On the opposite side from the party from which the torsion is removed to establish basic laying in a nest.
6. To install the torsion through a fastening element in the lever, and then, turning it, to find position in which the torsion freely will understand on depth of 8-10 mm.

The torsion freely enters only on 8–10 mm.

7. To finish installation of the torsion by means of a stripper when it rests against basic laying.
8. To remove a tip and a stripper.
9. To fill a nest with lubricant.
10. To establish basic laying and to tighten each end of the torsion the moment of 17,5 Nanometers.
11. To screw up two bolts of the holder of a cable of the emergency brake.
12. To remove adaptation installed on the place of the shock-absorber.
13. To install the shock-absorber.
14. To install the stabilizer.
15. To install the car on wheels.
16. To check height of a suspension bracket of a body and to correct in case of need.
