11.2.2. Replacement of the shock-absorber

Prevention

During removal and installation of shock-absorbers of a back suspension bracket the car has to stand on wheels.

Installation of the shock-absorber

1 – shock-absorber,

2 – fastening to a cross-piece,

3 – fastening to the lever,

X = 328 mm – shock-absorber axis distance at screwing up of connections

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To place the car on the elevator.
2. To unscrew a nut of fastening of the shock-absorber to the lever of a suspension bracket and to remove laying.
3. To move an axis back for extraction of the shock-absorber from a nest on the lever.
4. To unscrew a nut of fastening of the shock-absorber to the top axis.
5. To remove the shock-absorber and on its place to establish new together with axes. It is not necessary to screw up connections.
6. To establish distance of an axis of points of fastening of the shock-absorber by the size X = 328 mm, squeezing a suspension bracket by means of adaptation 0.908U.
7. To tighten nuts the corresponding moment.
