10.4. Ignition lock

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To remove a weight wire from the accumulator.
2. To remove casings of a steering column.
3. Under a steering column to disconnect electric sockets from the lock of ignition and to release wires from fastening brackets.
4. To insert the ignition key into the lock and to turn before combination with a small arrow on a lock frame.
5. To unscrew the screw of fastening of the lock of ignition.
6. The small screw-driver to press the keeping ledge, and at the same time to pull for a key the ignition lock from the case.
7. To take the ignition lock, passing an electrical wiring through a pipe of a steering column.
8. For separation of contact group from the lock to perform the following operations.
9. To unscrew two screws (are specified by shooters) from a back part of the lock of ignition.
10. To remove a back part of the lock of ignition.
11. To take contact group of the lock of ignition.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. At installation on the former place of the lock of ignition to check that the ignition key is taken from the lock and, as far as possible, to turn the screen wiper switch counterclockwise. To check that ledges on a screen wiper were combined with safety locks in the ignition lock.
2. Further installation is made in the sequence of the return to removal.
